This works on the core like the cat but brings the hips and chest into the mix as well. A good way to get into the spine and work on that thoracic articulation. The arms and shoulders especially benefit from this while offering and inviting you to a higher level of coordination and body awareness. This can take you to a place of really feeling the whole body move as one.

This reminded me of performing arts classes I've taken over the years. I enjoyed it and think I'll adopt some of the moves into my regular routines. But if you are expecting a traditional yoga class, look elsewhere.
